THE RESIGNATION OF MAKHOSI KHOZA SETS AN EXAMPLE FOR MORE TO JUMP FROM THE ZUMA GRAVY TRAIN OF CORRUPTION.

COPE welcomes the increasing number of South Africans whose moral conscience compels them to take a strong stand against the evident moral decay and socio-economic decline caused and incubated by the ANC.

The resignation of Makhosi Khoza from the ANC sinking ship must set an example and tone for many more to emulate. It is a welcome strong and principled position she has adopted which like-minded fellow South Africans will welcome.

In 2008 Mosiuoa Lekota and many others, who later formed COPE, voluntarily left the ANC to put the interests of the country first. The writing was on the wall then already that the ANC had veered away from its values and principles. The contents of the famous "divorce letter" served by Mosioua Lekota then remains relevant today and vindicates COPE.

Today's corrupt ANC led by a thug from Nkandla is an antithesis of the once glorious organisation led by OR Tambo. He and many others who paid the supreme sacrifice to achieve this constitutional democracy must be turning in their graves to see what has become of their organisation.

We call on more of her former comrades to abandon the Zuma gravy train of corruption and its anti-people conduct before it is too late, lest they are judged harshly by history.
