COPE would like to express its concern regarding the following:

1. The late timing of the re-marking of examination papers
2. The delay in the finalization of the FET examination results

Both instances have negative consequences for learners wishing to register for further education, as most credible institutions require proof of examination results prior to registration.

With registration dates looming, COPE calls for intervention from the Minister of Higher Education, firstly to expedite the processing and release of outstanding results and re-marking, and secondly, in imploring institutions of higher education to accept the provisional registration of students pending receipt of their results.
