“The people of Phumulong in Tembisa need you NOW”

Over the past few days the people of Phumulong, in Tembisa have suffered the effects of the devastating floods as a result of the recent heavy rains. Over 500 people have been left homeless as a result of this disaster with most of them accommodated at a community hall.

This community falls within the jurisdiction of ward 12, which coincidentally was won by COPE in the recent by-elections.

We call on all South Africans to support our efforts to bring relief to the men, women and children of this community during this time of need.

They need temporary shelter as most of them have been moved away from the flooded areas and cannot all fit it the hall, blankets, food and any thing that may assist. To donate any of these, you can contact Sebenzile on 083 992 7889 or Lesego on 078 580 4643.
